Several new and unusual trends made appearances during the Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Fashion Show in Fall 2010. One trend that stood out was the use of unique animals and tropical prints, now seen in several magazine issues. We will begin noticing this trend more and more as the weather makes it's way into Spring. Several designers including Mui Mui, Prada, and Stella McCartney each established this as their most prominent trend for Spring 2011, while using very bold primary colors throughout each of their designs. Another trend seen by several designers, including Derek Lam's show for Spring 2011, was the stacked sole wedge, demonstrated in several shoe designs for this season. Now lets look into how we can translate this trend into Children's Wear!
